In the frame of the cooperation in sustainable urban development between France and Indonesia, the French Agency ADEME and the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Social Housing have decided to appoint GreenBuilding to elaborate a guide to design, develop, finance and implement sustainable urban project through Urban Development Tools (UDT) and Urban Development Corporations (UDC). The national guide focusses on operational urbanism approaches to be used by Indonesian local governments to implement urban projects not possible to implement with urban planning and urban regulations. The guide deals among other with land management, project management, financial leverage, stakeholder participation, and legal issues. The guide has been developed with the support of the Indonesian Ministry of Internal Affairs (KEMENDAGRI) and the local governments of Semarang, Wonosobo and Yogyakarta.
